Brian Weeden, PhD

I think, write, and speak about space policy.
// BACKSTORY

I have been working in the space community for more than twenty five years, with a focus on military space operations and space policy analysis. I specialize in the integration and advancement of technical, policy, legal, security, commercial, and international aspects of space activities.

My day job is Director of Civil and Commercial Space at The Aerospace Corporation, where I lead a team focused on all things civil, commercial, and regulatory within Aerospace’s Center for Space Policy and Strategy. I also am an adjunct professor at Georgetown University where I co-teach a summer class on Space Technologies and Security.

My hobbies include cooking, video games, board games, running D&D campaigns for friends and family, and building computers.
